		<description>I can’t speak for digitalangel, but I&#039;m guessing it was directed towards Apple.  That was my immediate thought when I read the article.  There would be law suites and anti-trust issues all over the place.  IMHO</description>

		<description>By doing this Apple ensures that all accessories are held to there high standard and not run of the mill crap.  I know this kind of behavior is unusual to the rest of the crowd (i.e. MS converts) but this is common in the Apple world.  Apple&#039;s proprietary aspect is why all of the hardware/software works so well.  If Apple didn&#039;t do this then they would have called their company Dell.</description>

		<description>I have always wanted windows drivers to pass some sort of test before they can be installed.  Then Windows would have a chance at &#039;just working.&#039;  With a different name I dont mind &#039;apple tax.&#039;  It keeps things running smoothly, although I bet its higher then it needs to be.</description>
