Lenovo releases new consumer lappies

The hot on the heels of the U110, Lenovo’s new U330 (above) is a 13-inch laptop that weighs about four pounds. It includes HDMI and a DVD burner and comes in black and blue.

For the kids there are the Y530 (15 inches) and Y430 (14-inch) laptops which come in red and black. No pricing yet but they should be available in time for back-to-school.
All of the laptops are aimed at consumers but switchable graphics, LEDs, and low power processors add to battery life for those inclined to scrimping and saving on battery life.

The U330 looks pretty nice actually, maybe it’ll be a good alternative to the people buying Macbooks simply for the exterior design.
