Reminds me of when the PS2 came out and was in short supply. Sony had also come out the the PSOne at about the same time (basically a smaller version of the original Playstation). There were tons of ebay auctions for “2nd generation Playstations.” The description never mentioned PS2, but instead stated “play with the latest Playstation from Sony.”

I wonder how many were suckered in by that.
