What has Jimmy Fallon done to warrant him even being in the consideration to take over Late Night? Honestly, I have yet to see Jimmy Fallon be funny, nor good in anything that he has done. He never could keep his composure on SNL, what makes him even qualified to be even considered? I can see it already. He will laugh at his own unfunny self during the whole show, and people will find out real quick how tiring it will be.

Put someone with real talent on the show.

Good move by NBC. I remember watching Conan when he first started. "Bland" would be a good way to describe the show. Then I got to watch him from the audience during a taping - he was NOT the performer you saw on TV. His real personality (much closer to what we see on his show now) came out.

Fortunately for him and his shoe, not too long after that, the recorded shows seemed to gain a little life (no - I am not taking credit, just mentioning a coincidence...).
