SE you are wrong about your success in the last 6+ months you have shown a lack of direction and speed to market.

Xperia when it was announced should have been released. Poor planning is what put you at least 6 months behind on a product that would have done well at that time prior to the new Blackberry, iPhone and soon Nokia N-series upgrade.

Also you continue to use Sony Memory and although a good generator of extra cash on the side it is not enhancing your product in the mobile environment. Also Sony memory is always in need of another version and has compatibility problems with earlier versions etc. It is far less user-friendly than SD.

Lastly, your walkman mobiles play on the once iconic name but with no innovation. I loved Walkman but what does it mean anymore? Its not a market leader, it doesn't even do anything that isn't common place amongst your competitors.

Walkman is dead because it is not an innovative brand and even your own team thinks so because they are introducing a new brand Xperia a WINDOWS MOBILE phone. Ugh!

Clearly there are too many chiefs, too many fingers in too many pies over at SE. Clear the dead would fire more senior managers and become more flexible and dynamic. Samsung is still rumoured to allow access for its employees to the highest levels of the company. What are you doing to compete with that?

Good bye SE, your demise is entirely your own fault.

I own one of these phones, and love it. I never, repeat never, use it for listening to music on headphones. I will take it to the gym with me and have it serve as a boom box (we have an empty gym here at work), and it works quite well for this.

It has great battery life, great call quality, quick interface (almost never any lag), easy to use, and tactile buttons. And its extremely durable, especially by cell phone standards today. And it has the best camera on a phone I've seen to date.

Realize this sounds like a product pitch, but I really do like the phone that much, and it really does work that well. Those of you just interested in getting a great, durable phone with great battery life should take a look. These can be had for free after rebates, and you don't need to use the music features to get a great experience.
