We’ve been talking about a GPS add-on for the PSP for some time now, but we never really knew what Sony’s designs for it were. Turns out, Sony’s got big plans for the little extra that could.

That’s going to be a big one for us. It changes the dynamics of GPS but also changes the way developers think about games on PSP because you can start integrating GPS into it.

Good for Sony, right? All we care about is how the games come out, something we’ll have to wait till next year to find out. It seems Sony still has to convince developers and publishers (there’s, what, two publishers left, right?) to, you know, make the games first.
