There's another service coming online soon called trade2save.com. I don't know what kind of prices they'll give, but worth having a look when they launch.

I guess if your laptop arrived cracked it could have been done by the postal service. It's a tough call but I don't think they would deliberately try to scam you - but it's a case of either you or them being responsible for damage during postage - and sadly that is the responsibility of the seller.

My $1,800 laptop with only minor scuffs, suddenly had a cracked cover once Gazelle got their hands on it, so they reduced the value. They are liars and thieves!

I'm glad you had a positive experience with them. Me, I had a negative experience. They broke my camcorder and then retracted their original offer. I wanted to warn people: http://www.gazellesucks.com

Use logic, obviously. But if you're tired of eBay/Craiglist scammers, it's an acceptable trade off

Just sold my iphone 8GB on ebay for $420. These guys would have give me $165 according to their slick pricing display. That's a 40% mark up when they sell it on. I hate it when scammers say they're green when all they're after is the green in your wallet!
