‘SofaBox’ is pretty much exactly what it sounds like

SofaBox

It’s a sofa. It’s a box. It’s the SofaBox — a sofa that folds into its own box. Nice idea, especially for frequent travelers who can’t stand to be without a portable sofa for more than a couple of days or impromptu sitting sessions.

The product’s website — www.sofabox.ch – is in a mystical, magical foreign language but somewhere in there it says that it goes for around $2,700 US, so you’d really have to get some good use out of it for that amount of money. I’d probably just buy a cheap Ikea couch for $149 every time I wanted to sit down. Those come in boxes too.

  • They should market it as a bed instead. If it can store clothes in the space underneath the cushion, and put the thing on wheels, you’ll never have to rent a hotel room again!
