Hands-on: Kingston microSDHC 8GB

scaled.IMGP9232
Not the most exciting news or hands-on we’ve had at the CrunchGear office, but I’ll be sure to add Kingston’s newly added 8GB microSDHC card to my arsenal. The Class 4 comes with a microSD adapter and retails for $58, which is $13 cheaper than Sandisk’s same offering.

How the hell do they fit 8 gb on something that’s almost the size of a finger nail?!

Peter, not to burst your bubble, but I got a Sandisk 8gb on Amazon.com over a month ago for $36. And it came with a USB keychain adapter. I think it is much more useful than the SD adapter, since everyone now adays has USB. There are still many PC/Laptops without SD drives.

Yeah, but maybe, JUST MAYBE he won’t use the adapter to connect to his computer. Maybe, JUST MAYBE he will use it in his camera/Wii/PS3/Camcorder/Any Other device in the world that uses SD. JUST MAYBE people will catch onto the whole crazy, “expandable memory” idea.
What then?
