I'm amazed that now suddenly a laptop case like the one by Targus and others that just separate the laptop compartment are accepted while for the last years I was forced to remove my laptop from a protective sleeve that had nothing else in it than the laptop itself but gave it protection from scratches while going thru the X-ray machine. Just shows you how inflexible those TSA folks are when it comes to accepting common sense just because they have some rule book to follow.
