I just assumed everyone there had it, based on all the stores and the houses I visited. Maybe it was because I was in northern Minnesota, though. Hopefully this 1080p thing signs them up some subscribers, because from what I've heard, satellite television hasn't been a blazing industry lately. Weird. You see the DISH dishes every once in a while but it's always from inside a relatively fast-moving vehicle so it becomes kind of like a Sasquatch sighting. There were DISH stores EVERYWHERE, it was really pretty strange. The people I stayed with had DISH. My dad has DirecTV, which I have found to have a far superior interface (at least back then, maybe DISH has improved). Their internet speeds were abysmal. Sounds like a cool update though.
