Haw haw: Static-charged balloon foils security camera

Ah, William Lawson of Brooklyn, New York, you are a smart guy. I can only hope that your balloon trick shows up in future iterations of the Splinter Cell series. I’m getting tired of shooting the cameras out with a pistol. It wastes bullets, it’s dangerous, and it’s impractical for Sam Fisher to have to poke his head out just to aim at a target he could very easily disable with a little bit of static electricity. Perhaps he can start to carry a bag of balloons, string, and a large helium tank with him wherever he goes.

What if you are facing the camera, it will definetly see the suspect before you can put the baloon!

@Shaha: Then you either:
A: stay in the shadows
B: toss a flashbang, and in that split second position the balloon.
C: Wait in the shadows for a guard to walk around nearby. When he is close enough inflate a balloon and pop it. The guard will investigate - once he is in the shadows knock him out and take his clothes/gun/etc. Now that you look the general profile of the guard, walk out of the shadows while keeping your face away from the camera and place the balloon to block the camera.
D: pick the three brighest colored balloons you have, inflate them, tie em together, take one of those noisemakers Fisher gets and tie it in too. Release the balloon where the camera and watch them. As it moves up and away the security people will make the camera follow the moving balloon, letting Fisher make his move without being seen.
E: Just shoot the camera.
