Were you one of the many PS3 owners who felt betrayed by Square Enix’s decision to port the game to the Xbox 360? Worry not, scorned gamer, because Squenix still has your back—kinda.
The very first playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII will be packaged with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, which is a Blu-ray release. So, buy the movie, which wasn’t too bad, and get a playable demo of the game. Things could be worse, fellas.
The movie currently has a March, 2009 release date. That’s for Japan, mind you, as a U.S. release date hasn’t been announced yet.
In the meantime, Squenix fans, why not put your DS to good use, and play all those re-releases the company has been coming out with every 20 minutes? Now would be a good time to finish Final Fantasy IV, for example.
To be honest that was the only reason I was going to buy a PS3 was FF XIII exclusivity to the Play Station. I’ll probably buy one eventually but I’m not to entirely sure anymore.
PS3 has about 2 -3 Exclusive titles worth getting a system over
360 has about a Dozen, from Gears to Halo

360 has a dozen? Please name them? Gears to Halo, you mean gears and halo. What else is there.
Granted the 360 is great for FPS’s and blowing s**t up but for everything else PS3’s the one to own.

I’d say that’s more than 2-3 exclusives worth buying the system over.
It’ll take a really long time for Sony to recover and turn things around. I used to have Xbox 360, now I have the PS3. I thought there would be plenty of RPGs that would go on the PS3, but most of the games are now going to Xbox 360. WHEN the prices drop further for the PS3, THEN that’s when things get better because I KNOW that the PS3 is much more powerful with its Cell Processors! It’ll CHOMP the Xbox 360 in half. *shakes fists in air!*
Actually, ive been playing my PS3 everyday while my Xbox360 collects dust. No good games.
i think that is square is giving the 360 ffviii then bungie should give ps3 halo or something….. I’m just waiting for kingdom hearts 3 to come out i will get my ps3 then lol
