They have been secretly tested for 2 months and are now ready for delivery: bullet-resistant bras for 3,000 German police women who are in frontline duty.
What may sound like a joke is in fact a serious safety precaution. If a female office is shot wearing just a bullet-proof vest, she can suffer from injuries sustained from metallic or plastic parts of ordinary underwear. The new bras, however, are shielded and mainly made of cotton, polyester, spandex and polyamide.
The underwear is available in four different sizes. Each police women can get up to three bras, which are all emblazoned with the word “Polizei” (police).

Four sizes? Bras must be the most complicated item of clothing to fit in the world, and they’ve come out with FOUR SIZES???

Yes.
They had 10 different sizes at the beginning of development and then cut the number to 4 (sizes 70A to 95E in EU size, Wikipedia couldn’t help in converting these sizes to US norms).
