Ah, plummeting technology prices. Time was, you couldn’t get a 24-inch monitor for under $800. Now you can grab one for just under $250. Sure, it’s a Soyo, but has Soyo ever done you wrong? - 1000:1 Contrast Ratio
- 2ms Response Time

No rebates needed, either. It’s $249 right out the door. That’s a wheel of a deal!

I just picked up one of these Soyo’s from office max at $249 and am using it with my MacBook Pro 17. The reviews are all over the map on this product, but for the price, it is hard to pass up. I have had it a couple days and have not experienced any of the out of the box problems that others have written on other forums. It does not make noise, does not run any hotter than any other LCD I use, and the picture quality is beyond amazing for the price point. As the saying goes, it is what it is, but so far, it is exceeding my expectations. I will give it a workout the next 2 weeks and if it goes weird will take it back during the return period. I am cautiously optimistic though. If you are on a budget, this just may be the ticket for you.
