Tool to mod NVIDIA desktop drivers into laptop drivers
by Devin Coldewey on August 14, 2008

Handy if you have, well, almost any laptop these days. While I really don’t think the laptop gaming population is that great, there’s no reason they should have to play on drivers a couple generations back. This tool from Driver Heaven, the Mobility Modder, modifies the newest drivers (for instance, PhysX-enabling ones) to run on pretty much any card with a “Go” or “M” in the name.

This is nice if you’re stuck with some driver known to be buggy in, say, Mass Effect but can’t use the newest and coolest betas. Go, download! There’s a Radeon one out there somewhere too but I couldn’t find it.
