The story goes thusly: kids were being jerks while playing XBox. The father warned them repeatedly about their behavior. Finally, Dad takes a nailgun and whams the Xbox onto a tree. Mom says “Way to go,” ensuring that those kids will remember “Dad’s batshit reaction to our XBox playing” and not those weekends spent throwing the old pigskin around. I smell a fake but who am I to opine on the parenting reactions of flyover-state fathers?
