By looking sufficiently urban, bedraggled, and clueless, you can essentially show up anywhere, say you’re a DJ, and get past tight security. Since our own Nicholas Deleon displays all three of those characteristics, look for him in the streets of Barcelona wandering up to clubs carrying his TechCrunch bag and a Zune and threatening to spin the ruedas de acero.

Genius!
In the 15 years I have been spinning out I never have had an issue. Most of the time I even have help when people see me unloading. This can of course be abused for fun, like….
My buddy found a record case with handle on the street, and decided to fill the record case with booze instead of records. He pushed his way through the line and yelled at me when he saw me at the door. I walked down and grinned at him and they let him in. As we walked up the door, I asked him what was in the case. He smiled and said “booze”.
Needless to stay after we stashed it I came back and made it my personal bar all night :-)
