It was 3D, but wasn't as clear as IMAX3D. For instance, in certain scenes light sources didn't keep there proper depth and tended to pop forward. So the whole process still needs work. I remember seeing the Open Season IMAX3D trailer... was the coolest and clearest thing I've ever seen! It was like I could jump into the screen. I saw Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D in REAL-D.
