The original Bose SoundDock was the de facto standard for all other iPod docks on the market. Simply put, it rocked. The next-gen version works out all of its differences with the iPhone and now plays, and charges, nicely together. Plus, the designer folk streamlined the look a bit and added a thoughtful aux-in jack for the iPod haters. (joke, just a joke) Finally, the remote has been refreshed to include playlist navigation and finally, volume control. MSRP is set at a premium $299 and it will be available in September.
Is this just the Bose portable, currently available, for which you can hook the iphone up to the aux jack? Or is this a new model for which you can hook the iphone directly in to the dock?
