Except it is not an official Canon page, probably a webdesign outfit working for Canon, or a hoax. Not a server owned by Canon. Anyway, let's see.

I am greatly concerned about the slow continuous burst rate. It is slightly slower than the 40D. This shows that they intend to restrict fast sports coverage to the more expensive models. I will have to take a close look at Nikon, and sell off my 3 Canons. Canon, has lost me, by dropping the ball on what seemed
a valuable increasing speed trend. I was able to shoot 625 frames on a burst at 700K, with the 40D. Their 15.1 megapixel sensor
screwed the ability to shoot fast for long periods. (100 second bursts) I use Nikon prime lenses on my 3 CMOS Sony HD video Z7u, so I guess I'll have to start thinking Nikon for stills and burst coverage. They could have provided a smaller file size for those who need multiple frames rather than this overkill single frame size.
