The RED has some advantages that are worth the teething problems that all new technology products face. It certainly brings a lot of flexibility to the production and makes post production possible much more efficiently than in the past using film. Continuity problems can be addressed quickly, and doubts can be confirmed or dispersed with the replay function. It seems to me that next spring RED will be the standard for TV production, and it will be accepted as a reliable and useful tool for economical feature movie production.
