by Brian Krepshaw on August 26, 2008

Kensington announced the immediate availability for some new battery packs and chargers for use with either the iPhone 3G or the iPod. Also a couple of versions of a charger for use in the car are now on sale.

First off, there are two new versions of the battery pack and charger. The Mini version costs 50 bucks and gives you three hours of talk time, 30 hours of music playback, or six hours of video playback. The 70 dollar standard version will get you six extra hours of talk time, 100 hours of music play time, or 21 hours of video playback.

The car charger comes in two flavors as well. For 20 bucks you get a bare bones connector cable and 12 volt adapter, while for 50 bucks you also get a flexible arm and built-in cable.

All of these are designed to work with either your iPhone 3G or most iPods.
