Rumor: Next PS3 update to include screen grab functionality

Break out the salt shaker, PS3 fanboys, because this one’s for you. CVG was supposedly tipped off by a “development source” that the next round of PS3 updates, specifically 2.5, will include the ability to capture screen grabs. No other details were mentioned.

Anyway, I just recently updated my PS3 to the most recent firmware since I haven’t had a tv for over a month…or two. Just haven’t been able to mess with any of it yet. But the screen grab thing, sounds pretty cool I guess. You never know when you’ll see a funny glitch in a game. Will also be nice for people who play online and stuff.

ok heres the deal. im a playstion fan but that doesnt make me a fan boy. Second the X.box 360 and the ps3 are just about the same. Some people are right about the xbox raping people for there monet. i think sony has the lead with its free online. game wise the xbox is known 4 its fps and racing games while sony has rpgs and games thats more group orianted. the features the systems offers speack 4 them selves. if ur looking 4 gaming and high end entertainment the the ps3 is the best but if ur just looking for mostly gaming then u can go either way. if u look up all the the ps3 offers then u have to see and undestand why its the better buy but that doesn make it any better than the xbox. before you go and try to defend your home system look at the facts andnot what others say
