Ah, Tiger LCD handhelds, how do I love thee?

Let me count the ways. Oh, there’s like a million. Admittedly, the only ones I really remember are Football, Bowling, and possibly Road Race, although I think that one belonged to my friend Reid. OhGizmo remembers Hang-On, also a classic.
Back in the day, games were simple enough that it these handhelds actually provided valuable gameplay, although as Gameboys and Playstations saturated the market, dedicated LCD handhelds became less feasible. One questions, for instance, the suitability of the platform for Symphony of the Night and Duke Nukem 3D, although that last one does look awesome. Now readers, I know you have a few of these sitting around in a box of your stuff in your parents’ basement (or is it just me?), and I think now is as good a time as any to go dust ‘em off, find a couple AAs, and lay into some beepy goodness.

All my cool stuff was lost when we moved once. I had a ton of unopened star wars guys, probably would be valuable by now, if not then at some point… So I definitely don’t have any tiger toys hanging out…

The only REALLY cool thing from Tiger was the silver camcorder from Home Alone.

I’m sure I had a Double Dragon game from Tiger.

I forgot all about these cruddy little games. Man, were those simpler times.
I had Smash TV and Street Fighter II. The were both as terrible as you’d think they’d be.

Despite how bad the games were, I have never worn out the buttons of any other system before.

With all the advances we see today… and it would be so easy to make something that merges this concept and dance dance revolution… and yet…
Imagine this, it should work with any mp3 players. OLED screens now are all the hype but i see no trouble on making it pure LCD with a couple colored LEDS.
