Do you think your six-year-old cares of Cinderella is in ultra-ohmygosh-HD? Even if you showed her the difference, she won't care. She'd barely notice if they were on VHS. All I had was VHS when I was a kid, and I was glued to my screen. I think any kind of HD DVD (including Blu Ray) is a sick joke at the expense of people who have too much money. The improvement between DVD and VHS was incredible. Yes, my DVD isn't perfectly sharp when I play it on my laptop, but so what? It's not worth wasting my money. Why don't you keep throwing your money away at self-idolizing entertainment and use it to help someone. I'm an American teaching English in China, and a ridiculously small sum of money can go a very long way here to feed the poor, provide medicine for the sick, or put a child through school.
