The 24-inch Dell monitor is on sale. Yes, THE 24-inch Dell monitor. Normally $450, you can get it (after a 1-2 week wait) from Best Buy for $289. That’s a wheel of a deal. The monitor has a 5ms response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² brightness, 1920×1080 resolution, DVI with HDCP input, VGA input, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

$289 for a 24 inch flat-panel monitor is really worth the money!

It would be really worth it if there was HDMI support. This is the going rate on eBay.
This isn’t THE 24″ Dell monitor. It’s the el-cheapo TN panel version which is lacking a lot of the features that THE 24″ Dell monitor has such in picture-in-picture, component, hdmi, display port, usb hub, card reader and awesome stand.
Still a bargain though.
I love my 24″ Dell. Got the deal of a lifetime back in August 2004 and picked one up for $500 =). Still going strong to this day, but I’ve noticed that it’s recently become susceptible to some image persistence problems. Oh well…$500 for what used to be a $1200 monitor is nothing to complain about.
