So a spokesman for Sony cleared up some stuff today, including the rumor that Mirror’s Edge would be released on PS3 first (not true). He also mentioned something interesting — and irking:
“PlayStation has an exclusive marketing agreement with EA regarding the title. Exclusive downloadable content will be offered on the PlayStation Network.”
So what you’re telling me is that PC and 360 owners are not getting the whole game. And you’re already making the stuff you’re not going to give me — before you’ve even finished the game! Real classy, guys. That is some Comcastic customer service.

Same here. The PS3 version is the one to buy.
So either buy all the consoles or get over the fact you won’t be experiencing the whole game. While third-party exclusives are (almost) a thing of the past, the console manufacturers will still push (and pay) for exclusive content.

It’s almost like CrunchGear is written by multiple people with differing opinions.
Yeah, I totally understand it’s written by multiple people with different opinions. But whining about exclusive content is like whining about exclusives in general or about consoles not being compatible with each other. It’s the nature of the business.
Can you really blame me for whining about the nature of the business? I give hollywood shit for bad sequels. I give writers shit for bad books. I’m giving the games industry shit for shorting gamers.
Devin Coldewey it just appears you don’t like the PS3 as the other comment says you didn’t say anything negative when the GTA came out with exclusive for 360 and on your other post about the blue tooth headset why talk smack about it. I think this site should give honest review or news not biased reviews/news.
I love this site and most of what you put on here but come on stop dogging the PS3 or at least be fair about it and say that Exclusive DLC sucks for both systems not just the PS3.

Sure it sucks. But if you’ve got to pay to download I probably wouldn’t get it anyway because I’m a cheap SOB. Unless it gets good reviews then I’d consider it.
I guess I’m not the only one realizing how bias these crunchgear bloggers are towards the xbox. Stick to the gadgets and leave the fanboism to the other sites already.
