Those of you looking to play Doom again for the thousandth time, this time called Resistance 2, you’d best mark your calendar for November 4, 2008 (that’s election day in the U.S., too!). That’s the day when the game comes out, and you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a special edition planned.
The special edition, which will retail for $79.99, includes a Chimera Hybrid action figure (created by DC Universe, so it’ll actually be fairly decent), an art book and an in-game weapon skin. There’s also a bonus DVD that has a preview for the upcoming novel that’s based on the game, and some sort of Resistance history guide.
As far as special editions go, it seems to be a standard issue release. Nothing too crazy, noting too sparse. You’d have to first convince me that Resistance 2 is worth my time (not that that’s worth much anyway), but if you’re a fan, looks like you’d do well to check it out.
This is exciting. Resistance was a good game. Not Halo by any means, but it definitely satisfies the PvP itch for those of us without 360’s.
Yes, this game is God-like and his worth buying. Of course every game for the PS3 is awsume and some from X-box. But none of them compare to Resistance 2.
I love resistance soo much and im from the UK. I would love to have a special edition of resistance 2 but i dont know if they would relese it in the UK. can anyone tell me or give me something when they would release resistance 2 special edition in the UK. :D
