I’m not sure what the idea is here. You wear this ear-thing while you’re playing the regular sound over your speakers? So do you hear the other people’s voices in the headset or in the speakers? Or both? Is this item really necessary? Someone enlighten me.

I guess you can buy one if you feel incomplete without one on your ear, like some people I know. Used to know, anyway. They’ve all been cut up and fed to the pigs gone to Chuck E Cheese!

  • I got the one that came with Warhawk, but never was able to get it to connect to my PS3. So I don’t know exactly how the PS3 handles this, but when I do I’ll let ya know.

  • If this headset was for the xbox then the headline would of said:

“Microsoft’s xbox bluetooth headset costs $50, just buy it anyways!”

  • Yes, Crunchgear’s hatred of the PS3 is getting tiresome. The Xbox’s best days are behind it, learn to deal.

Anyhow… Yes, the voices of your fellow gamers arrive via headset, and the regular sound from the game goes out to the speakers as normal. That’s the default setup, but you can also change it to send the voice stuff through the speakers as well.
