napbook

It’s been a while since I’ve fallen asleep at my desk – never done it while a productive member of the US workforce, but it happened plenty of times in college. So for those of you desk-sleepers who happen to live near Reykjavik, Iceland, here’s the Napbook.

It’s the brainchild of designer Hafsteinn Juliusson and “is sewn by a 105 Reykjavík local sewing room and it is available at the Apple store around the corner.” Not a bad idea, actually. Come to think of it, this could come in handy on an airplane or train.

  • I could see this being especially useful for sleeping while you travel and are worried that someone might steal your laptop. This helps because your head is resting on it and so it would be harder to take without you noticing.

  • I seriously could have used one of these while I was going to college in Iceland…

  • They say if you put your laptop on your lap you kill your sperm count. So if you put your head on your laptop does this mean you kill your brains cells? Even better can you blue tooth sync your computer with your days short term memory? Is this a sign of things to come, mooohohohohahaha!
