Wildblue (the best Sat ISP) already has caps of 7.5GB/30 days which is generous and generously measured compared to HughesNet that has a similar cap but is measured hourly (or daily, not sure)

All I know is that Comcast had better be giving me some sort of an idea as to how much bandwidth I'm using each month. I can forsee myself and roommates easily going over 250Gb a month through online video (hulu and such) as well as torrent files. I am constantly torrenting and I know that I've gone well beyond 25 to 30Gb in a single day. Either way, for how much we're paying for internet access, it's pretty f'in ridiculous.
