Lenovo announced their version almost a whole year ago. The L220x has pretty much the same specs.

MSRP is $499, can be found for <400 depending on the day.

It also uses a SPVA panel, making it halfway acceptable for graphics work. Does anyone know if this is the same panel, or if it's a cheaper TN version?

Old news anyway, stuffing HD into 22". On top of that, Lenovo (and assuming others) have 15" notebooks with 1920x1200.
