No clue where this one came from, but posters at Modaco received images of the Windows Mobile 6.1 device. No word on price or carrier, but I’d say it’s coming to T-Mobile. Or it could be AT&T. The Touch HD rocks a 5-megapixel camera, microSD slot, stylus, GPS, WVGA screen and is said to be coming in time for the holidays.

Holy Crap! CDMA version to Sprint PLZ! They got rid of every ugly design flaw of the original touch and the diamond. Perfect looking device.
Windows Mobile….enough said. Quite frankly, Windows mobile is far inferior to the experience you get with the Iphone.
Why do these companies keep pumping out these high priced phones when they dont even come CLOSE to the ease of use of the Iphone?
@Jason: what an apple fanboy, ignorant of other mobile OSes out there. iphone is crippled, for pple like u
what???!!! Are you serious???? Have you ever used a WM6 device like HTC Diamond or Rapahel or Xperia or Omnia or Touch HD???? Well tell me what can Iphone do that those WM devices cannot do….and I will tell you what the Iphone CANNOT DO that WM6 can do…. email me lets compare notes :)
If you like the iPhone so much then the solution is simple, stick with the iPhone!
I personally am glad Windows Mobile devices are nothing like the iPhone. I actually don’t like it’s GUI or design, and prefer how I can basically reprogram a Windows Mobile device to behave in just about any way I want, not to mention have a near unlimited freeware library to do just about anything I can dream of on the phone.
windows mobiles does science apps, i-phone doest not. For field work ill take a windows mobile anyday. its also far easier to develop programs for windows mobile then for iphone. my old ipaq, can control the lights, heating and tv/music of my home, plus it holds all my appointments.
