Yikes. Eurogamer is reporting that PS3 owners must sit through a 4.98GB install that will take approximately 10 minutes to load up, but you’re used to that sort of thing, right? Before entering Rapture you’ll have to listen to eerie music and be subjected to Rapture ads. Joy!

  • I don’t have a PS3, and I don’t really like the PS3, but this install is only the first time, correct? So what? If you are about to play a game like Bioshock, you have the time. Go make some popcorn. Call a friend. Not a big deal.

  • Agreed. I don’t know why people get so worked up over this kind of stuff. PC gamers ALWAYS have to install their games, OMG!!! And depending on that game it could take a lot longer than 10 minutes.

  • I understand how a 30-40+ minute one time install might be annoying, or several 5-10 minute installs throughout mid-game, but a single 10 minute install?

    Why is this a problem?

A lot of PS3 demos take longer to download than that, and it dosen’t seem to be a big issue.

  • Would you kindly wait for a 10 minute install?… Haha, joking aside….

This game was simply amazing. It goes to levels that no other has gone before to with playing with your emotions, deep environment, and awesome story. It’s well worth the 10 minute wait you’re complaining about here.

  • I’m not complaining here, gents. Simply informing PS3 owners of what to expect.
