Uwe Boll’s latest amazing rant: The movie industry is broken

Uwe Boll is like a more fun, less harmful Jack Thompson, constantly spouting nonsense that we find love to pieces.
Mr. Boll’s latest awesome tirade is about the movie industry in general, and how it’s impossible to make any more in it. He singles out the handsomely paid megastars, the guys who make $20 million+ per film, as one of the primary reasons why the movie biz stinks on ice. (He wants a salary cap of $3 million per actor per film.) He wants to put pirates in jail for 20 years. He wants movie channels like HBO and Showtime to show more small, independent movies.
In other words, Mr. Boll is the bee’s knees.

BUT HE IS RIGHT…
How else is he still getting to direct movies anyway? I say the movie business is broken because of the likes of Mr. Uwe Boll.

There aren’t enough prisons to put pirates in jail for 20 years. I guess you could release all the other inmates, you know…the ones that murdered, raped, and are an actual threat to society…to make room for all the pirates. That could probably work.
Ripping a 15 dollar movie x all the pirates = yeah, a lot of money loss to the movie industry…but maybe those $20 million actors should get a price cut before you go throwing the entire world into jail. $20 million? Seriously? For what? A movie that shoots for 5 months? $20 million in 5 months, wtf? I don’t see how that’s justified at all.
But yeah, I can see where he’s going here…pfft
