I had a TVBGone for a few days but it kept going off and the battery died and then I lost it. As a result, I was sad. This seems like a better solution than the keychain model, however. You simply slide your zipper down to a certain spot on your hoodie, closing a hidden circuit, and LEDs inelegantly embedded in the hoodie will turn off the TVs surrounding your vicinity.
MAKE has the full plans and they even describe a TVBG hat that you can use to give yourself telekinetic powers.

Airport security would have field day with this one.
Someone should inform the guys over at Gizmodo.
(cheap shot, hm?)
Oh, believe me, they must know by now…
After all where do you think they got the tv-b-gone from?
Come on, MAKE a guess!
I see what you did thar
I still say this device is a terrible invention, I fail to see the logic in turning off a tv that everybody else wants to be on just so it dosen’t invonvinence YOU, why not go to another restaurant? Theres hundreds that do not have any tvs in them.
