Kyocera sold the name "Yashica" to a company in Hong Kong, which attaches the name to whatever product it wishes to, in order to fool people (such as yourselves) into thinking Yashica is "back".

The only connection between the company in Hong Kong and the old Yashica is the right to put the name on products. One can not and should not make assumptions about quality of current "Yashica" products based on familiarity with the old Yashica products.

I cannot say more than I'm happy for the good news. I used a Yashica GSN Electro-35 since 1980 & an FX-3 Super since 1986.

Yashica makes comeback. Yes, I knew it. Despite what they say, anytime they want to return they can. And any product they want to bring back they can. This is proof.
