Sorry, but I was really disappointed. They have made such a fuzz about this one, and they have just taken the globe from folding and added how many, 20 cities for the whole world??? Five lines of irrelevant news (and just a link to a ordinary browser window, no special formatting whatsoever), some weather forecast, no images, no real video feeds (at least I did not see any) - whats the point of this application?

This is pretty cool. I like spinning globes. And you make a good point about turning it on in the morning before going to work to check. It would also give you a better excuse to go ahead and start up folding at home during the day. I always forget about it (although I run it on my PC, dual core, 24/7 (check it out, team Roast Beefed)), but this may get me to spin a globe first thing in the morning and fire up folding at home.
