Mouse Computer’s G1000 Netbook launches to a crowded niche market
by Matt Burns on September 19, 2008

Two netbooks in one day? Wacky. First, the Samsung NC10, and now the G1000 from Mouse Computer. In fact, this netbook spec’s out a lot like the Samsung – minus the anti-bacterial keyboard – with a similar 10.2-inch WSVGA screen, an Intel Atom CPU, a gig of ram, Wifi and a webcam all ran on XP Home. The G1000, however, receives a massive netbook 160 GB HDD not found on the NC10. Pricing hasn’t been announced just yet, but with the expected October release just around the corner, we are sure to find out shortly
