I don’t know what’s going on here, but desz over at CheapAssGamer has an image of what appears to be an internal document going around the Xbox team. Desz’s little friend GilZ was the one who sent in photos of the first Elite and HDMI-equipped Xbox, so I’d say this is legit, but you folks know as much as I do at this point. The possible name changes coming to the Xbox lead me to believe that a slimmed down version is coming and it’s going to be called the Xbox Pure. What do you think?

I would think the “Lean” would be a slimmed down version if anything.
But I don’t think they’ll make a ’slim’ version at all, I think it’ll just replace the current ‘Arcade’, ‘Elite’, ‘core’(?)…what’s the middle one called?
It goes Xbox 360 Arcade, Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Elite.
I don’t know why, but I think that a slimmed down design would also imply a quieter box. Name changes don’t alter the fact that the thing most people dislike about their XBox360 is the noise it generates…
