Unless you love the iPhone's virtual keyboard, (which I personally despise because it is so slow compared to a QWERTY), then the sidekick's keyboard cannot be beat. This phone combines the features someone would want from an iPhone, with the features that make it practical. (Trackballs, particularly placed on the right hand side, are very convenient...) The iPhone is indeed slick, but it's slickness compromises features that make it highly usable. The G1 seems to address these issues. Actually, this phone combines the best of all world.
