If the world was at a large risk the smartest physicists in the world would probably not run the world killing device.

But apparently you know more than them.

Because you are a genius.

Grats.

People, I live 20 km away from cern, and there is MUCH less speculation over this here than in U.S.A and other countries. I have a friend that works at Cern, and he says that the chances of there being a black hole are as small as the internet going down!
He also sent me a vid (more like a flash animation) of what would happen:

And don't call this spamming, ok

Maybe this can reassure you: the power of the collision that will happen in LHC will not be greater than two flies bumping at a very high speed in each other...

It's impossible that a black hole will form from the use of the LHC. These kinds of collisions occur frequently on the earth and I'm still here typing this message as they continue to occur. The LHC is simply a very accurate measurement device for such collisions. Think of it as the worlds most complicated ruler. :)

The most complex piece of machinery ever built, and you are suprised its not working yet? It's a miracle they come this far! the LHC I'd say is humanitys so far greatest achivement. We are approaching singualrity, embrace it :)

It's developed a large green vegetable in the same family as the onion and garlic? I think we've got more than just black holes to worry about here.
