I'm a windows programmer but actually bought a mac mini & mac development book just to check out iPhone app development. It wasn't long before I discovered that ObjectiveC makes me feel nauseous and I lost motivation. However I love the idea of someone teaching me iPhone game development as that would keep me interested in it. I don't think I'd pay $7000 for it though! That first paragraph described me perfectly.
