The upcoming Sony Vaio TT just got a little more official today with some specs and model numbers. The top of the line VGN-TT190UBX is sure to draw some curious looks from travelers with its Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4 GHz CPU, 4GB of ram and Blu-ray recordable drive. No word on this big boys price, but if it turns out to be too high, the other three mini-lappies still rock the same LED-lit 11.1-inch screen and HDMI-out, along with respectable hardware such as 2GB of Ram, 160GB HDD, and a Core 2 Duo SU9300 1.2GHz CPU. Sadly, you are stuck with just the chart to look at as pictures, along with pricing and availability, have so far been absent.

Yeah. Sony’s first netbook. Lets see what Sony has got. But I bet its going to have the Sony price, so the sales is going to be hindered greatly. Who would pay double for the same config that others offer.!

Actually Kansas, these aren’t netbooks. They are full-fledged laptops and Sony has been building these for years. Yes, expect these models to be way over 1k.
Netbooks generally sport an Atom CPU and lack optical drives.
