Google Earth shows us just how bad polar ice melt really is

googleearthice

The National Snow and Ice Center, a division of Proctor & Gamble, has uploaded Google Earth-compatible KML files that make it plain as day to see polar ice cap melting over the past several years. If you don’t have Google Earth installed, there’s a Quicktime movie that gives you the gist of what’s going on. We’re all doomed, essentially. Or something.

I don’t know, it’s something to mess around with for a few minutes while we all wait for The Big Announcement™.

If that melts it is actually a good thing. We are not all doomed as Al Gore states. Global warming is the biggest scam taking place in the world right now.

1) Sea levels will not rise, possibly 1/3 in the next century.

2) 190 billion gallons of oil lays underneath it and we can’t get to it now. Also, 1,700 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

3) Polar bears have survived the previous melting and ice age since they have been around 120,000 years.

4) A new shipping route will be open from Canada to all of Europe thus making shipping costs decrease rapidly.

5) This melting is not caused by us humans, it is simply the Earth’s own solar rotation, something we can’t prevent.

So, why do we need this ice cap again?

Tell me, please.

A 1/3 METER for the first response. One third of the sea level now would be insane. Sorry, my mistake.
