(I’ll go ahead and make the warning before anybody gets too excited: according to a warning by the author of the guide, this modification may disable your air bags, as the car will think it’s being towed.)

Ever wanted to take see how incredibly awesome and totally-not-boring the view is from the front of your car? For little more than a few bucks in hardware, a basic camera mount, and the cost of the cheapest camera you can find, now you can!

A user over at the IWSTI forums figured out a way to build up a camera mount around the tow hook already built into your car. Looks like a blast, until the semi in front of you throws a pebble into the lens as you pass it going 70.
