The title says it all. The now-BD Live capable BDP-350 Blu-ray player is finally cheaper than a PS3 at $299. So with Panasonic’s latest generation going for $299 and this one with the same price, it should make for a gloriously high definition Christmas for some this year.
I know I wouldn’t see that big a difference than my 1080p up-scaled DVD on my non-1080p plasma, but at this price, I’m starting to get the itch.

I’ve installed an internal Sony Blu-ray player for the PC which comes with PowerDVD. So far, I’ve only been able to watch about half the titles. The rest either crash or have choppy playback. Should have gone with a dedicated player.
