My 2009 mini model that I just got blows air that smells like wet moldy towels.
It's very mild once you get used to it but when I leave my office and return a few minutes later, the odor bothers me.

What a piss off. Apple should test their products in a home environment because I'm pretty sure you can't smell anything in a monster production facility with very good venting.

I always return electronics that put off strong odor and now I don't know if I should return this mini and keep my old one or hope that the odor will go away.

Well I can put this issue to bed right now. I have a friend that has leukemia, and she has a mac. Case closed.

Although... I'm not sure if it's a mac pro built before 2008. There must be a whole variety of Apple products that cause it!

TOTAL RECALL!!

What is the point about asking companies about this stuff? Do you think that they will say, "Yes, we knew about this."?

There is a bunch of stuff that makes people get some kind of disease.
