Following the merger, XM content has made its way to Sirius-branded radios. This photo shows XM’s Opie and Anthony playing on a Sirius radio, on channel 197, and Howard Stern on an XM radio.

Yeah, it’s weird.

  • My Sirius radio updated yesterday, and I read about this on Sirius.com when I checked what is going on — but I’m not getting channel 197…

Would gladly trade Howard for O&A.

    • For the time being you have to pay extra a month, I had to call Sirius and ask them to activate “the best of both” and then it updated my radio and I started receiving The Virus on sirius. It took a few minutes for my radio to update but now its working like a champ.

      • Thanks Kyle, didn’t realize that. Not willing to pay an additional $48 a year for one channel, though.

Might switch to ‘a la cart’ option when the time comes. I don’t want any rap, hip hop, country, etc. stations anyways. Just give me O&A in a reasonable package.

  • It is great! I am almost ready to cancel my XM subscription. However Sirius is still not letting me listen to Opie and Anthony online! But it was a little odd when I look at my little Sirius Starmate Replay and saw Ron and Fez (noon to 3 of course)

  • Its nice to have O&A and Stern together again…

  • I’m still waiting for Stern to show up on my XM radio. Nothing there between 97 and 110…
